Spline Script Plots

These drawings were made in 2017 on my Axidraw plotter. You can read more about the process here. They are drawn on sheets of acid-free (Fabriano Bristol 250g/m2) paper. All three plots are ~22 x 22 cm, in addition they have several cm of padding on all sides.

The plots have been drawn using a Pilot Parallel pen and Lamy Turquoise ink. This is the only way I have been able to create these particular layering and gradient effects so far. Unfortunately, this also means that this ink probably is not as durable as the previous plots I have made.

If you decide to buy any of these plots, it means you accept that I do not make any promises about how well they will age. To make sure they keep as well as possible, I suggest framing them professionally, using UV protective glass. In addition I suggest keeping them out of bright (sun)light. Strictly speaking this suggestion applies to all my work.

The plots are 300 USD each. This includes postage to anywhere in the world. Note that I always mark the packages as sales, so you may have to pay taxes/VAT depending on your local rules.

Please contact me by e-mail if you want to buy a plot, or if you have questions. Make sure to include the name of the drawing you are interested in. Eg. 4c80cca.

If you want to buy a plot make sure to also include your full address. I will then send you the payment details (Paypal). Note that I will not ship the plot until I have received the payment in full.

Have a look below to see if you find one you like. Note that the pictures are taken under slightly different lighting conditions, hence the difference in apparent hue. In reality all the paper and ink in all three plots look very similar.

  1. Lamy writes the following on their homepage. "According to German DIN ISO Standard fountain pen inks are not waterproof. Black and blue-black ink is very permanent and can be read even after decades when stored in a dry and shady place." However, this ink is not black or blue-black, so my warning still stands.
